The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is comprised of ten member states: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Viet Nam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and the Philippines. In 2007, ASEAN leaders adopted the AEC Economic Blueprint with the goals of making the ASEAN region into an economic community with free movement of goods, services, investments, skilled labour, and a free flow of capital by 2015.
Not only will we be one of the 67 million citizens of Thailand, wenow will also beone of 600 million citizens of the AEC. With this citizenship come both an economic opportunity and an economic crisis for every one of us. For those who are ready, a fantastic and excitingeconomic opportunity awaits. For those who are unprepared, the increased competition in the marketplace will present new obstacles for success.
Though Aim Star Network Corporation was founded in Thailand, the Company has expanded internationally. Aim Star operates in the following ASEAN member states: Cambodia since 2008 and located in Phnom Penh; Laos since 2012 with locations in Vientiane, Luang Prabang, and Savannakhet; Myanmar since 2013 with locations in Yangon, Mandalay, Myitkyina, and Mawlamyine; and Malaysia since April 2014 and located in Kuala Lumpur.
Aim Star has taken steps to expand into Viet Nam, Singapore, and Indonesia. We hope to reach our goal to operate in all 10 ASEAN nations by 2015 to coincide with the goals of the AEC Economic Blueprint.
